Corinda Thrapp stuns homecoming court

“I was really excited when I first heard that I made homecoming court, and then I was really confused when they said Thomas’ name. There were four different girls that I expected, and I wasn’t one of them,” Corinda Thrapp (10) said.

Thrapp considered herself unlikely to be elected, as well as her date.

“I didn’t think Thomas would get it,” Thrapp said.

Corinda’s date was an even more unlikely pick than she was. Corinda considers herself more sociable and personable than Thomas, and therefore was quite taken aback at their election. Thrapp wants for Tarman to lose his sideburns, but feels they will look nice in spite of it.

“We were never really great friends, but we talk in resource sometimes, we have that class together. He is funny,” said Thrapp.

Thrapp feels Tarman knows how to have a good time, even if he looks goofy.

“My favorite part is going to be wearing a dress, I just can’t wait for that,” said Thrapp.

Thrapp favors dressing up to dressing down, but at times comes to school in casual wear due to a lack of time to get dressed in the morning.

“I heard that Thomas might wear purple, and I didn’t like that, so I told him to wear black and I would let him wear his batman shoes,” Tarman said.

Thrapp is mildly upset with Tarman’s attire choice, but never the less, will enjoy the evening with her date.

“It felt really good walking in the hallway afterwards, and everyone telling me congratulations and smiling at me,” Thrapp said.

Thrapp is overjoyed at the thought of walking on the basketball court in McCuen and looking majestic in front of the student body.
