The try-outs were in December. Since that time, this year’s musical cast has toiled to polish “Good News!†into a refined performance.
Some cast members are concerned for the show.
“After a while of doing it, we’re getting better,†Randal VanNevel (11) said. “The main characters know their lines and the chorus knows when to come on and off.â€
Other cast members are more optimistic about opening night.
“It’s a lot of fun,†Jessica Scott (12) said. “The show is progressing, kind of like flowers in the spring.
Scott is a cheerleader in the show.
The curtain opens on Thursday, March 8 and again March 9 and 10. It begins at 7 p.m. Student tickets cost $6 and adult tickets are $8.
