Students in Jim Routhier’s (anatomy teacher) classes drove to school Tuesday morning to find out that their field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago was cancelled because of the weather conditions.

At the time, Concord Community Schools was under a two-hour delay, but the public was informed that school would be cancelled at around 8:30 a.m.

On Monday during class, Routhier told his students that they would leave for Chicago at 7 a.m. regardless of whether or not there is a two-hour delay, but Routhier was at CHS this morning telling students to go home because the trip was cancelled.

The trip may be rescheduled for students who have Routhier in the third trimester, but the other students may not have a chance to travel to the museum on a CHS field trip.
