The Minutmen lost to the Penn Kingsmen last evening at home by a mere 2 point margin. The game ran into double overtime as the Kingsmen pulled through.

Dairese Gary led the Minutemen with 26 points followed by Monty Marion with 20. Conner Burt went 2 for 5 on three pointers, yet the minutemen came up short in field goals.

Losing is a bitter ordeal to begin with, losing at home is more bitter still, and losing your fifth game in a row at home with four of your varsity players out because of athletic code violations is hard to stomach.

With the season winding down, the Minutemen are down and out but still confident. It is likely that the Minutemen will face the Kingsmen again in sectional play, and considering the double overtime, it will surely be an exciting nail biter of a game.
