Boys Hoping to Turn Around Losing Season

The CHS Boys Lacrosse team has yet to taste the thrill of victory. The increasingly competitive Indiana High School Lacrosse Assosciation has proven to be a tough challenge for the boys, who have yet to score more than three points in a single game. Even though they currently have a 0-5 record, the boys still hope to turn the season around at the last two games of the season. The first of the final two games will be played tomorrow at St. Joe. JV takes the field at 5:00 while Varsity suits up at 7:00. St. Joe comes to the meet with a 6-7 record and experienced squad.

After the St. Joe outing the boys will move on to Bishop Luers over in St. Francis. The long trip will take over an hour and a half, but will hopefully be well worth the wait. Though the boys can’t turn the season around statistically, they can at least prove to themselves what winners they are. Bishop Luers will be an especially tough fight for the boys, as the team is currently 7-5 and has a number of outstanding players on the team.
