This picture was taken at approximately eleven thirty in the morning. As you can see, the snow is all practically melted over, and CHS students would not be in danger on this road, or the surrounding county roads. As far as the surrounding subdivisions go, they were cleared not too long after this picture was taken. Now finals have been pushed to Monday and the ever productive school week is again interrupted by the relentless weather.

When I talked to Mr. Dyer today, he said that most of the neighborhood roads had not been plowed yet around 8 when he made the call to cancel school and didn’t think it would be safe enough for students to attend school today.
But I also very surprised to have rolled over and seen “Concord Community Schools” and “Closed” on the same slide.
