In possibly one of the most intriguing match-ups of the entire swimming and diving season, the #5 Minutemen take on the #12 Raiders from Northridge tomorrow morning.. This is one of the most highly anticipated meets in recent memory as CHS looks to continue their recent success against their stiffest competition to date.

“This is by far the biggest challenge we have during the regular season,” Korey Schrock (12) said. “This will really help us find out how good we really are.”

Not only is Northridge talented this year, but they have also been a force to be reckoned with in the NLC for a very long time.

“They have been one of the best teams in northern Indiana for the past decade,” Schrock said. “Much of that has to be credited to their coaching staff.”

This will be the first time in four years that Northridge will come to CHS for a swim meet because in the past there were other events taking place at CHS, forcing the Minutemen to travel to Northridge.

“We hope that because of it being somewhat of a marquee match-up that we can get a lot of our fans to show up,” Schrock said. “We don’t want there to be more Northridge fans than Concord fans.”

The meet is scheduled for Saturday morning at 9:15 at the Concord pool.
