While the lower classmen enjoy the first weekend in May with family and friends, the seniors will be having fun in Wisconsin Dells at the Kalahari Resort. Every senior has a chance to go and enjoy the warm weather in the Kalahari while in a cold climate.
Although many seniors will be going, some seniors are not able to go because of the cost. Katelynn Pryor wants to go badly, but because of the price, she thinks her parents will not be able to afford it.
“I really want to go but I can’t because of the price,” Pryor said. “If I could go it would be nifty.”
Although the price is $240 some seniors do not let the price get in the way. Most of them cannot wait until the weekend of May 1, 2010– a weekend of fun and excitement with their friends.
“The price is great compared to what they are offering,” Payton Roberts said. “When you have a whole weekend to spend time with your friends, nothing should get in the way.”
Although some seniors are not able to go, those who will be going have many things to look forward to. An indoor water park, shopping, and an indoor theme park will be available for the seniors to enjoy. Sarah Fish wants to spend as much time as she can with her friends before she leaves to go to collage.
“I really want to hang out with my best friends as much as possible,” Fish said.
Dan Cunningham (Principal) hopes the seniors will enjoy their time at the resort but also expects the seniors to behave themselves.
“I have no doubt that they will behave and also have fun in the process,” Cunningham said. “We do this so that they can have fun and enjoy themselves with friends.”
