The Concord Minutemen JV Football team had a little bit of a monkey on their backs coming into the game against the Northridge Raiders on Monday night. Coming into the game, the Minutemen were 2-5 and 2-3 in the NLC. The Raiders, on the other hand, were 0-7, 0-6 in the NLC. Over the season, the Minutemen have had their share of losses in games they felt they should have won. The game started and the Minutemen attacked immediately, wasting no time before scoring. The Minutemen played hard in the first half, but the Raiders came storming back and ended the half with a one point lead. In the second half, the Minutemen came out as strong as they did in the first half and this time, they were able to finish. In the end, the Minutemen won 28-13, pushing them to 3-5 on the season.
