On October 19th, students from CHS were silent for the Pro-Life Day of Silence. Fatima Camilo (11), Shawna Whalen (12), Tracy Girten (12), and Torie Stack (12) participated in the event. They believe that abortion is wrong and that every life has a voice and it should not be silenced.

Throughout the day, pro-life supporters do not speak to convey profound beliefs. They also wore red armbands and duct tape that read Pro-Life Day to signify what they were a part of.

“I believe every life should be lived and no one has the right to take that away from anyone no matter how little the person is,” Girten said.
